French composition about Christmas
Santa Claus was born in America at Christmas. In the1860s in the United States, he was appointed to have a white beard and abdomen, so he was named St. Klaus, which is the Dutch language of St. Nicholas, sintaklaas. Although Holland bought them in17th century, it was not until the novelist washington irving wrote his novels in 1809 that he became an important figure in Christmas. This first Saint Klaus is still called Saint Nicholas. He smokes a pipe and walks around a place where there are no reindeer, but he doesn't have his red coat or live in the North Pole, but he brings presents to the children every year. 1863, he was named St. Klaus and Kong's red suit, taking care of his reindeer and sleigh. Today, Christmas celebrations in different parts of the United States vary greatly, because different nationalities have settled here. In Pennsylvania, Moravia built a landscape called Fool under the Christmas tree, while Germans in the same country were lucky enough to have a Bersnick faucet. If they were polite, they would exchange it with him. Early European immigrants brought many traditional Americans. Many people settled in the south in the early days. These colonists would greet their distant neighbors with shooting weapons and setting off fireworks at Christmas. In Hawaii, this practice is still used. For example, in a clear sky, Santa Claus takes a boat to eat Christmas dinner outdoors. In Alaska, a star was walking from house to house on a pole, followed by Herod's men, who tried to catch the star. The entrance to the colony is often decorated with pineapples, which is a symbol of hospitality. In Alaska, boys and girls carry a lot of stars from door to door with lantern posts. They sang carols and were invited to dinner. In Washington, when the president pressed the button to turn on the tree light, a huge and spectacular tree was solemnly lit. In Boston, people sing carols to celebrate their fame.
