Where should the incense burner be placed at home?

Is your incense burner used for diffusing or adding incense? If it is for aromatherapy, you can put it anywhere. If you want to diffuse it in the bedroom, just put it on the windowsill of the bedroom. If it is used for offering incense, it should be placed in front of the statue or tablet of the god being enshrined. If you say there is no Buddha statue, and there are no other statues or tablets of gods in the country, then it is not offering incense at all. It can only play the role of incense. It doesn't matter where it is placed.
