Introduction to Xinzhou Hequ Wenbi Pagoda?
Hequ Wenbi Pagoda is located on the flat beam in the east section of Huanghe Street in Hequ County, Yizhou City.
The Hequ Wenbi Pagoda was built in the 59th year of Qianlong reign of the Qing Dynasty (1794), and is called "Wenbi", also known as "Zhuangyuanbi". The purpose of creating this pen is to "revitalize the power of Dongshan" and to benefit the Feng Shui of the river. The nib is built on the pier of the beacon tower. The base is nine feet, four feet and three inches high, of which the mound is three feet high. The top of the pier is five feet and four feet in diameter, and the bottom of the nib is one foot and eight feet in diameter. The base of the pen tip is made of three layers of stone strips, and the whole body of the pen is made of green bricks and white ash. It has a solid architectural structure and suddenly retracts into a tapered shape at the top. According to folklore, at sunrise on the summer solstice, the shadow of a pen can reach as far as Dakou Valley in Hexi Province.
The base of the Hequ Wenbi Tower is a round platform made of blue bricks, about eight meters high, and the top is paved with stones. It is about 18 meters in diameter, flat and wide, and has a brick guardrail with a stone cap on the edge. , there are fifty steps spiraling up on each side of the north and south sides, allowing tourists to climb up and enjoy the scenery. The lower square platform of the tower base faces the south side and is engraved with four official Chinese characters of "Baipu Park". The west, north and east sides are the stele gallery of the Wenbi Pagoda built by Tasi Society in Hequ County in 2005. The carved beams and cloisters are engraved with the names of 64 famous figures from across the country. Authentic calligraphy works by famous contemporary calligraphers.
