Baolin Temple, founded in the late Tang Dynasty and the Five Dynasties, is located at the western foot of Taiping Mountain in Daliang, Shunde City (942). Formerly known as Liubo 'an, it has always been dedicated to Guanyin. Later, a towering old tree grew in the temple, just like the seven kinds of treasure forests in Buddhist legend, so it was renamed "Baolin Temple".

Baolin Temple is located between green mountains and green waters, taking Tianmen, Yue Long, where tigers lie in phoenix pavilion, and is known as Taiping Ruiqi. Temples, pavilions and pavilions are built on the mountain and climb up the stairs. Behind the stone archway of "Taiping Shengjing", there are many buildings such as Tianwang Temple, Jiulongbi, Ursa Major Hall and Luohantang.

According to legend, more than 2,000 years ago, Buddha Sakyamuni spent 49 days under a bodhi tree and became a Buddha. Therefore, the Millennium Bodhi tree in front of the Mahayana Temple was also enshrined as a Buddhist relic, attracting a large number of believers to worship, and the tree was also covered with windmills and red wishing cloth.

The height of the III Buddha enshrined in the Ursa Major Hall is about 10.3 m: from left to right, there are Amitabha Buddha in the west, Sakyamuni Buddha in the middle and Pharmacist Buddha in the east. It is worth mentioning that many Buddha statues in Baolin Temple, including these three Buddha statues, are not clay sculptures, but carved from camphor wood, emitting a touch of woody incense.

Luohantang is located behind the Hall of Ursa Major. Every day, good men and women come here to count arhats and measure good and bad luck. The way to count arhats is to start with any arhat and count down to arhats of the same age. It is said that identity, expression and action can reveal the fate of numbers.

Located at the highest point of the temple, the Wanfo Hall is cleverly designed. There are tens of thousands of golden lacquer Buddha statues in the hall. Use modern scientific and technological means to integrate light, sound and shadow with architecture and Buddhist culture. It is changeable and colorful, and tourists are in it, such as in a dreamland.

Kannonji in Baolin Temple is surrounded by mountains and waters. In the center of the hall, a pure gold Guanyin statue donated by enthusiastic people (height1.68m, weight 37.3kg, value 1.3 million yuan) is dedicated. Guanyin statue is solemn and solemn, surrounded by auspicious dragon girls, and the walls on both sides are dedicated to "eighteen phases of Guanyin"
