What problems should be paid attention to when raising chickens in greenhouses?
Raising chickens in plastic greenhouses is very popular among rural farmers because of its low cost. However, the greenhouse has its own particularity in building materials and scaffolding structure, and the following points should be paid attention to in raising chickens:
(1) Fire prevention: except for cement columns, almost all the materials used in building greenhouses are flammable, such as plastic film, wood, bamboo poles and wheat straw. Fire is needed for heating and insulation, so fire prevention is one of the most important problems in raising chickens in greenhouses. The wires arranged in the shed should conform to the electrician's operation rules, and it is best to use copper wires instead of aluminum wires. Because of the high humidity in the greenhouse in winter, it is easy to condense, and the aluminum conductor joint is easy to oxidize after water. Once it is oxidized, it will produce heat due to poor contact, and it will ignite the surrounding flammable materials when it reaches a certain temperature. In addition, don't overload electricity, which will generate heat and cause fire. For the stove and flue in the shed, cement asbestos tile can be used to cover it properly when it is overheated, so as to avoid overheating radiation heat from igniting a fire. You can also set the stove in a semi-underground place outside the shed, which is safer.
(2) wind protection: there are two forms of wind-blown shed, one is that the wind only lifts the plastic film away, leaving the shed frame; The other is to lift down the scaffolding together. For the first case, the key is that the plastic shed should be tightly closed, so that the wind can't blow in. Once the wind blows in, it will be lifted from the inside out and the plastic film will be lifted away. In the second case, the column should be buried at least 5 cm, and compacted; Columns, beams and arched scaffolding should be connected firmly, and tightened with No.8 iron wire when necessary.
(3) Waterproofing: The edge of the plastic film on the greenhouse should be tightly pressed and kept in a sealed state to prevent rainwater from falling into the greenhouse. When it rains, close the plastic film and air inlet window on both sides in time according to the wind direction. When it rains in summer, it is necessary to leave an exhaust outlet to exhaust air, and if necessary, turn on a fan to force exhaust air to prevent high temperature, high humidity and high concentration of harmful gases in the shed.
