An Zhenbao’s Cultural Thought Prose

I was fortunate enough to witness the graceful appearance of Anzhenbao.

Strongly experience the connection between ancient Central Plains culture and Fujian ancient architectural thinking in terms of time, space and cultural inheritance.

As early as Emperor Shun’s southern tour, it was recorded in "Historical Records": Fujian is a new land that has just emerged from the sea. It is a wild place with few people living there. At that time, only the two brothers Peng Wu and Peng Yi were famous for practicing alchemy in Wuyi Mountain. Until the Tang and Song Dynasties, the Central Plains was in war and feuding princes were fighting. In order to escape the war, people moved southward one after another, gradually moving down to the south of the Yangtze River and into Fujian. Due to the differences in many aspects such as groups and dialects among the Central Plains people who entered Fujian at different times, Fujian has had the interesting phenomenon of "different customs in ten miles and different customs in hundreds of miles" since ancient times. The ancestral motto of "peace is blessing" is deeply rooted in the hearts of these honest and responsible Central Plains people. In terms of architectural culture, the Tulou in Yongding and the Anzhen Fort in Yongan are particularly prominent, emphasizing the need for external defense. Function, because the characteristics of Fujian's wild land at that time were particularly prominent. Wild beasts were infested and bandits were intruding, just like the Central Plains when Outer Mongolia invaded. Qin Shihuang ordered the construction of the Great Wall. There were beacon towers and archery recesses on the Great Wall; Anzhen Fort was also particularly strong. Another feature of Anzhenbao is that, like the Yongding Earth Building, each has many rooms for clan members to live in. The entire clan is a complete and unified whole, and no one can be missing! "National unity and continuous self-improvement" has always been a prominent highlight of the Central Plains culture. Moreover, the layout structure of the houses in the fortress completely inherits the architectural style of the ancestors of the Central Plains: main room, side room, hall, patio, Zongci, mill, and kitchen-----all in order. Moreover, living in different age groups, different sizes, different inside and outside, and not forgetting the ancestors - these are the virtues of the Chinese nation reflected in the brilliance of architectural culture, showing the unity and harmony of the national family, mutual respect and mutual respect. like.

In addition to inheriting the ancient architectural style of the Central Plains and imitating the layout of the Forbidden City, the most important highlight of the Anzhenbao building is that it embodies the harmonious unity of architecture and nature, and between man and nature. It takes advantage of the situation and adapts the layout to the situation. It perfectly complies with the ancient Feng Shui theory and is a clever application in the special geography of Fujian. The west back of the seat has a wide view, green mountains and abundant water resources. It was a good living environment in ancient times, and now it is also a paradise, a paradise on earth! This shows the ingenious ideas of Chi Zhanrui and Chi Lianlian in site selection and design. The gradual elevation of the entire building is even more unique and unprecedented. Zhang Xian inherits and develops the perfect harmony. It is in line with the owner’s original wish of “the front is round and the back is round, and heaven and man are one”.

At the same time, the "Woniu Mountain" on the back is an image of a cow. The farming civilization is vividly displayed here, which further shows that the owner of Anzhenbao clearly knows where the foundation of life lies: food. It is the guarantee of life, and farm cattle are the real friends and backers of the people! I will not forget about it just because I have read the scriptures for a few days or have a lot of money in my pocket. Instead, I will root deeply in the fertile soil of farming in the mountains of central Fujian, be pragmatic and safe!

I looked at Anzhen Fort several times, up and down, inside and outside, and I always felt that this was not a building, but a textbook: a history, humanities, Even a Feng Shui textbook. If you have the chance, you must bring your children here to read this treasure book of nature and humanities.
