Brief introduction of procedural Taoist view

The Taoist Temple of Procedure, commonly known as the "Holy Temple", was founded in the Song and Qing Dynasties (A.D. 1086- 1093) and has a history of more than 900 years. According to the "Zhouzhuang Town Records", "In the Ming Dynasty, there was no one in the west of the courtyard, and lanterns were hung on the bridge to take care of the night sleepers in the West Bay." After the mid-Ming Dynasty, Taoist temples became increasingly large. During Jiajing period, local Wang Bi donated money to build Yimen. In the 25th year of Emperor Kangxi of Qing Dynasty (AD 1686), Taoist Hu Tianyu raised funds to expand the Jade Emperor Pavilion. Five years later, Wenchang Pavilion was built in Gexi. In the 16th year of Qing Qianlong (A.D. 175 1), Taoist Jiang Nanji built Shengdi Pavilion outside the mountain gate. The pavilion is next to Puqing Bridge, forming a three-step building complex, covering an area of 500 square meters and becoming one of the famous Taoist temples in Wuzhong.
